The Telangana BJP has launched a fierce attack on Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for his recent remarks on Operation Sindoor and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The state BJP spokesperson accused Reddy of spreading narratives that align more with Pakistan’s propaganda than Indian national interest.
Reddy, while addressing a Congress rally, claimed that Modi failed to reclaim Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) and demanded clarity on how many Rafale jets were downed by Pakistan during Operation Sindoor. The BJP has labelled his statements as baseless and damaging during a time of military engagement.
The BJP further alleged that Reddy seems more invested in grabbing media attention, even suggesting he was more excited about being pictured with Miss World than standing with the armed forces. “Even AIMIM’s Asaduddin Owaisi has condemned Pakistan, but Reddy chooses to echo their narrative,” said BJP’s NV Subhash.
Reddy had earlier likened Modi to an expired currency note and claimed that if Rahul Gandhi were Prime Minister, PoK would have been taken back by now. The BJP called this “delusional grandstanding” and accused Reddy of disrespecting the armed forces with sensational claims.
